Benmore Gardens
Benmore Gardens near Dunoon in the Eachaig valley are managed by the Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh.
If using the Dunoon ferries as a preferred route travelling to or from Argyll, Benmore Gardens offer a good stopping of point on your way to or from Inveraray.
Benmore Gardens are spread over some 140 acres of woodland. There is a large collection of rhododendrons and the photograph below shows the avenue of giant redwood trees which are located near the main entrance. There is a visitors shop and good cafe on site.
